The Full-Time MBA
The Full-Time MBA is a 45-hour program designed to be completed in 24 months. Students can specialize in Entrepreneurship Management, Finance, Marketing, Sports & Entertainment Management, or Supply Chain Management. With sequential coursework and immersive learning experiences, this program prepares you for leadership challenges and success across industries in both the public and private sectors.
Working Professional MBA
The Working Professional MBA offers a 36-hour curriculum that can be completed in 18 months. Designed for busy professionals, the program features Saturday in-person and online courses that balance work, family and education. Flexible and affordable, it allows you to gain advanced business expertise while continuing to grow your career in real time.
Prepare to Make a Difference with an MPA from CAU
The Master of Public Administration program prepares emerging and experienced professionals for leadership roles in public service and the nonprofit sector. Students build analytical, managerial, and ethical decision-making skills while tailoring their studies through specializations, such as Human Resources, International Administration and Development, Nonprofit Leadership and Public Policy. Graduates are ready for impactful careers across government, nonprofit organizations and quasi-public agencies, with some advancing into teaching.
Program Overview
The MPA program offers a modified track for in-service professionals that reduces total requirements from 36 to 30 credit hours. This option removes one elective and the Capstone seminar while maintaining rigorous academic expectations. Instead, students complete an advisor-approved Exit Paper tied to their specialization, allowing them to integrate practical experience with advanced public administration concepts.
Student Outcomes
Students in the MPA program learn to apply ethical standards in policy and management decisions across key public service functions. They develop quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to evaluate programs, recommend solutions and communicate effectively in both written and oral formats. Graduates also demonstrate the ability to apply theoretical knowledge and professional skills in real-world settings, preparing them for leadership roles in public and nonprofit organizations.
Master of Social Work (MSW): Advancing Clinical Practice and Social Justice
Clark Atlanta University’s Master of Social Work program prepares students for advanced clinical practice grounded in ecological and systems theories. The program emphasizes culturally responsive care through an Afrocentric perspective and offers Child and Family or Health/Mental Health specializations with flexible study options.
Program Goals
The MSW program is designed to develop skilled, ethical and culturally responsive social work leaders. Through rigorous coursework and applied learning, students gain the knowledge, values and competencies needed to address complex social challenges across diverse communities and practice settings.
- Goal 1: Prepare graduates to serve as competent advanced direct social work practitioners across a range of clinical settings.
