The MPA program offers a modified track for in-service professionals that reduces total requirements from 36 to 30 credit hours. This option removes one elective and the Capstone seminar while maintaining rigorous academic expectations. Instead, students complete an advisor-approved Exit Paper tied to their specialization, allowing them to integrate practical experience with advanced public administration concepts.

Student Outcomes

Students in the MPA program learn to apply ethical standards in policy and management decisions across key public service functions. They develop quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to evaluate programs, recommend solutions and communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
